Terms of use
Short version: we run a job board for jobs in Singapore. We are not an employment agency, we do not place anyone, we never charge a candidate, and the employer and MOM make every decision about people. Overseas agencies get 500 free member spaces worth USD150 in all, for every agency that registers; every space is one-time use. Last updated 18 October 2026.
1. Who we are
BestHirePath ("we") operates an online job board at besthirepath.com. We are not an employment agency and we are not licensed as one. We do not recruit, place, supply, or manage workers. We do not arrange interviews, negotiate pay, or apply for, obtain or guarantee any work pass. Only the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) decides a work pass.
Contact for everything on this page: hello@besthirepath.com.
2. Candidates pay nothing. Ever.
There is no fee for a candidate to create a profile, apply for a job, use any tool on this site, or be introduced to an employer. We do not accept payment from candidates, and we do not accept payment from anyone on a candidate's behalf. Any request for money in exchange for a Singapore job, a pass, or an introduction is unlawful in Singapore, and it is not from us.
The employer writes the criteria and the employer decides who to contact. Nothing you can buy changes the order of anything on this site.
3. Badges are earned, never bought
Where a badge appears on a profile, it records something the person did on this site — for example a profile completed in full, or a free preparation tool they ran. A badge cannot be bought, and no payment changes what a badge says.
We do not currently verify identity documents or qualification certificates, and we do not display any badge that would suggest we have. If and when we run a check, the badge will say exactly what was checked and by whom.
4. What an employer may and may not post
Every ad is checked by an automated compliance scanner before it can be published or boosted, and again if it is edited. An ad is blocked when it:
- asks a candidate for money, a deposit, a fee, or payment for training, insurance, a medical, a levy or a pass;
- says or implies that a pass, a visa, a job or an interview is guaranteed;
- states a preference or requirement based on nationality, race, religion, language, gender, age or marital status, other than a requirement MOM or TAFEP expressly permits (for example a Work Permit source-country rule);
- promises to recover or refund a fee that was paid for a job;
- describes work that is unlawful in Singapore.
The scanner reads the words of the ad, so a disclaimer ("there is no agent fee") does not trip the fee rule. It is a first filter, not a licence: an employer remains responsible for the truth of their own ad and for the law.
5. Advertising, boosts and paid plans
Employers may pay for plans and boosts. Every boosted ad carries a visible Promoted label. Boosts sell a position in the promoted band, inside a cap, so the band sold is always delivered. No payment of any kind changes how a candidate is treated or the order they appear in. Prices shown on this site are the prices charged; nothing on this site is a "from" price.
There is no account manager, no named adviser and no telephone support. Support is by email and by the AI desk, which answers in writing.
6. Member spaces for overseas agencies
A licensed overseas employment agency that lists its own members on the board is given a free allowance of 500 member spaces. At our special promotional price that allowance is worth USD150. It is given free for a limited time, and we may close the free allowance to new listings at any time.
Every space is one-time use. A space is consumed when a member of the agency is accepted onto the board. It is not restored, reused or reissued when that member is selected, hired, withdrawn, removed or is no longer available — including when a Singapore employer, or an employment agency acting for one, takes that member. So an agency that has used 400 of its 500 spaces has 100 spaces remaining; if 25 of those 400 members are selected, it still has 100 remaining, not 125. The allowance counts members ever accepted, not members presently displayed.
Extra spaces may be bought in blocks of 200 (USD60) at the special promotional price and are added to the agency's allowance. A bought block is one-time use on the same basis as the free allowance. Payment is taken once for the block chosen: there is no subscription, nothing renews, and nothing is charged again without a further purchase.
Spaces have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another agency, and are not a payment for any placement, introduction or outcome. Whether a member is ever selected is not promised and is not within our control.
7. Getting a candidate's contact details
Every person on the people board is shown by the work they do — never their name, phone number, email or CV. Each one carries a reference code. An employer chooses one person by putting that code in the box on the board, or by choosing them from the list. An employer never contacts the worker directly: a yes releases the contact details of the licensed agency that looks after him — or, where he is already in Singapore and has no agency of his own, his own — and from that point the employer deals with that agency. BestHirePath does not match, rank, shortlist or place anyone, and the candidate never pays us anything.
We then ask the licensed agency that looks after that person — or the person himself, if he is in Singapore and needs no agency — one question: is he still available? The answer must come within 24 hours. No answer inside 24 hours is read as not available.
An employer is only counted for a person confirmed available. One contact unlock is used when a yes releases that person's contact details. A no, or 24 hours of silence, uses nothing and costs nothing. When a person is not available, the listing comes off the board and the contact details held on it are removed. When a person is confirmed available and his contact details are released, his listing also comes off the board, but it is held in the background rather than removed: his details are kept so that he can be put straight back on, and the party who answered is asked, in one click, whether to put him back on the list or whether he has been hired. A person reported as hired stays off the board. We count the hired answers and nothing else, and that count is how we know the board is finding people work.
Contact unlocks. A new employer account carries 100 contact unlocks free — S$135 worth at the promotional price below. After those 100 are used, an employer buys a pack from the contact-unlock wallet on the people board: 30 contact unlocks for S$40.50, 50 for S$67.50, or 100 for S$135, which is S$1.35 a contact unlock, the promotional price. These pack prices are promotional until 30 November 2026; from 1 December 2026 they double. Contact unlocks are not cash, they do not expire and they are not transferable; an unspent unlock is not refundable for a change of mind, and a charge that was not due — a duplicate, a charge for a pack that never reached your account, or a charge for the wrong amount — is put right under our refund policy. One contact unlock is used on one named person, and is spent when that person's contact details are released to that employer. Buying the same contact unlock twice is not possible: while an employer is waiting on an answer, or already holds that person's details, the code is not charged again.
8. The AI tools are preparation, not decisions
The tools on this site help you write, translate, explain and check. They do not decide anything about any person: they do not screen, score, rank, reject or shortlist a candidate. Figures about work passes come from MOM's published tables applied by a fixed set of rules, not by a model. Information on this site is general information about Singapore rules — it is not advice on your own case, and where it matters you should check with MOM or a licensed professional.
9. Your account, and what we may remove
You are responsible for what you post under your account and for keeping your login to yourself. We may remove an ad, suspend an account, or refuse a posting that breaks section 4, that we are told is unlawful, or that a regulator tells us to remove. Where we remove a paid posting for breaking these terms, the remaining paid period is not refunded.
10. Availability, and the limits of our responsibility
The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it up and correct, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and we do not promise that any job, application, interview or pass will result in anything. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which for a candidate is nil).
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Singapore law, including under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act.
11. Changes, and which law applies
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page always shows the current version, and material changes will be shown on the site. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore and the Singapore courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
