Jobs in Singapore for Singaporeans and PRs
If you are a Singaporean or a PR, every live ad on BestHirePath is open to you — no pass needed, no levy, no fee to apply. You apply straight to the employer.
Coming from abroad instead? Start on the jobs page — an ad never names a work pass, but the employer tells you which one they will file when you apply.
What a pass label on an ad means
When an ad says Work Permit, S Pass or Employment Pass, that is the employer answering one question for itself: if the person I hire is not a Singaporean or PR, which pass would I file? It is not a condition on you, and it is not the employer saying the job is only for someone from abroad. Apply anyway. For a local hire there is no pass to file, so nothing about that label stands in your way.
What hiring you saves the employer
A Singaporean or PR hire carries no foreign worker levy, no S$5,000 security bond and no pass application fee. On a Work Permit in the services sector the levy alone runs S$300–S$800 a month, tiered by the worker's skill level and the company's quota — money an employer simply does not spend when the person they hire is you. (MOM services-sector requirements, read 17 Sep 2026; the same figures are on what a hire costs.)
There is also no quota to protect, and none of the 14-day advertising step an Employment Pass application needs. Those two lines sit on our posting form, right next to the pass question.
What you never pay
- Nothing to apply, and nothing for an outcome. No employer or agency on this site may charge you a fee for a job, an introduction or a placement — and we are not an agency, so we never take one either.
- Nothing to keep a profile. Free to create, free to keep, no card anywhere on the candidate side.
- If any page here ever asks you for money for a job, write to hello@besthirepath.com. That breaks our terms and we act on it.
The four free tools locals use most
- Check a job or an offer — paste an ad or an offer letter and see what it actually pays, month by month.
- Salary reality check — what that role really pays in Singapore, before you accept a number.
- CV gap report — what your CV is missing for the job you want, in plain words.
- Interview practice kit — a question set built from the ad you are applying to.
Every tool is free on the tools page. No card, and each tool asks for your consent before anything is stored.
Straight answers about this board
The board is new, so the number of live ads is small right now. We print the real count on the jobs page rather than pad it. Every ad is checked against MOM and TAFEP rules before it publishes, and every ad states what the employer would file and what the job pays.
We are a job board, not an employment agency. We do not arrange interviews, negotiate salaries, submit passes or place anyone — the employer does all of that. Work passes are decided by MOM, never by us and never by an employer's promise.
We cannot make an employer reply to you. What we can do is put every ad in front of you with its facts stated, so you are not guessing before you spend an evening on an application.
Hiring, rather than looking?
Post the role free on the employer page. A Singaporean or PR hire costs you no levy and needs no pass application — the same free post reaches local candidates the moment it passes the compliance scan.
